01
Designing within constraints

One product, multiple broker brands

The existing app needed to support different brokerage firms while connecting more closely with the wefox Platform.
With a short timeframe and limited resources, the challenge was to create an experience that could be customised for each broker without building a separate product for every tenant.

02
Exploring the experience

Understanding account and tenant switching

Before moving into detailed UI, I reviewed the existing information architecture and explored how other products handled account and tenant switching.

I then mapped the core journey and tested different wireframe approaches to simplify how users moved between brokerage experiences.

03
Building a flexible visual system

One system, different identities

Each brokerage needed to express its own visual identity without creating a completely different experience.
I explored with a team how colour, branding and reusable components could adapt between tenants while preserving a consistent interaction model and product structure.

04
Existing the system across platforms

From mobile to desktop

The same white-label approach was later extended to the desktop experience.

I adapted navigation, colour usage, illustrations and component variants for a larger screen while preserving the flexibility and rules established on mobile.

The goal was to keep each tenant recognisable without fragmenting the overall product experience.

Final experience

A flexible experience across brands and screens

The final system allowed different broker identities to live within the same underlying product structure, adapting branding and components across mobile and desktop.

Outcome

A more flexible foundation for a white-label product

The project established a reusable approach for adapting one product to different brokerage brands without losing consistency.
The work brought together configurable tenant styling, reusable component patterns and shared guidelines across mobile and desktop.

Key learnings

• Flexible systems work best when customisation is built around shared rules rather than one-off solutions.

• Designing mobile and desktop together helped reveal which parts of the system needed to remain fixed and which could adapt.

•  Designing different access levels required balancing product constraints with a consistent user experience.
